London based Turkish born singer, songwriter, dancer. Graduated from Ozel Darussafaka High School and Sabanci Universtiy in her home city Istanbul.
4-octave coloratura soprano vocal Melis Bilen is classically trained by a Turkish opera singer, voice instructor, TV-Host and writer Nilgun Serimoglu. Bilen can sing in 9 languages in a wide range of musical styles such as pop, RnB, dance, jazz, opera.
Melis was invited to Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 by Swiss Tv SRF with her own 5 songs and went through the finals of National Elections of Switzerland. She is also a famous singer and performer in her own country and appeared as a guest in many tv shows in channels like Show TV, TRT, Cine 5, Kanal D, TV8, BRT.
Melis is equally at home performing whether at festivals, live music venues, clubs, gala nights or function gig events which include weddings.
Bilen has been writing her songs since 2009 and also collaborating with other artists albums.
