Durham born jazz singer Jo Harrop, has a voice that is warm, intimate & sincere.
Absorbed throughout her childhood by records and stories from Billie Holiday, Anita O’Day, Julie London & Peggy Lee inspired her to sing.

She is no stranger to performing at the best clubs and radio stations garnering praise notably from luminary composer Howard Blake OBE, & jazz pioneer Courtney Pine CBE

A thoughtful selection of great music from the past creates her debut album released Spring 2017 featuring a stellar young band of musicians Harry Sankey on Guitar, Peter Adam Hill on Drums, Joe Downard on Bass and Will Barry on Piano all providing a perfectly refined accompaniment that is tastefully swinging.
